Turning the Central Mindanao University (CMU) Office of Public Relations and Information (OPRI) parking lot into a lively food bazaar, the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) students brought their talents and entrepreneurial skills to the forefront during the Kahibulungan Bazaar 2024, which ran from October 7 to November 8, 2024.
This event featured 15 food stalls created by students specializing in marketing, finance, and operations management, each offering affordable beverages and culinary delights inspired by both local and international dishes.
From traditional Filipino favorites like sisig and chicken inasal, to the tori katsu and tonkatsu of Japanese cuisine, all contributed to the bazaar’s flavorful atmosphere.
Despite their busy schedules, Dianne Fate Amigleo, leader of the Quickie Samgyup, proudly shared that they will continue to work towards their goal: to offer the CMUans a delicious and authentic samgyup experience. The team’s current challenge is ensuring their sales stability.
Meanwhile, Ma. Shanley Badilla from the Match and Munch stall stated the importance of cooperation and smart financial budgeting for the success of their day-to-day operations.
“We assign tasks to our members based on their skills and strengths,” she explained.
In an effort to increase engagement, all teams actively promote their products through various marketing strategies to attract customers, including sharing tempting promos, raffles, and fun ads on their Facebook pages.
