Central Mindanao University (CMU), through the College of Education, has once again proven its academic excellence after ranking 5th among the top-performing schools nationwide in the September and November Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) – Secondary Level, as announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on December 18, 2025.
The university recorded 374 passers out of 398 examinees, posting an overall passing rate of 93.97%, which surpassed the national passing rate of 72.62% and exceeded its 85.65% result in March 2025 LET.
CMU’s performance was further highlighted by the success of its graduates—all Bachelor of Secondary Education majors in Sciences—who placed in the Top 10 nationwide:
Kristlyner Boniao Santiago – Top 8, with a rating of 93.40%
Lilian Rose Alajar Fernandez – Top 9, with a rating of 93.20%
Rica Mae Macalaguing Alforque – Top 10, with a rating of 93%
With this latest achievement, CMU continues to affirm its commitment to excellence in teacher education, producing educators with global competence.
